Privacy Policy for Lead with Community
Effective Date: 17 November 2025
1. Environmental Management Policy
Policy Title: Our Commitment to the Environment
Owner: Director, Lead with Community
1. Purpose Lead with Community's purpose is "To amplify leadership, co-creating impact & unleashing collective human potential." We believe this is often best achieved through in-person human connection, and we also believe this potential is fundamentally linked to a healthy planet.
This policy outlines our commitment to managing our environmental footprint. We will consciously weigh the value of human connection against its environmental impact, choosing the most responsible and practical option in line with our "Do Good Design" principle.
2. Principles & Actions (Our Climate Action Plan) We commit to the global goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. As a service business, our primary impacts are from travel, workshop materials, and digital technology. We will manage these impacts through the following actions:
-
Conscious Materials Use: We value the collaborative power of using tools like paper flip charts in our in-person workshops. When we choose these materials, we will minimise waste by using 100% recycled paper and ensuring all charts are responsibly recycled.
-
Promote Sustainable Travel: We will balance the need for in-person connection with its environmental cost. We will choose public transport over driving where practical. For all necessary domestic and international air travel, 100% of emissions will be offset annually through a Gold Standard or equivalent certified provider.
-
Reduce Digital Footprint: We will actively select technology partners (such as web hosting and cloud storage) that are powered by 100% renewable energy or are certified carbon neutral.
-
Responsible Procurement: When selecting venues, suppliers (e.g., caterers, printers), or partners, we will give preference to those who share our commitment to sustainability and ethical local sourcing.
3. Approval & Review This policy is formally approved by the Director as the company's highest governing body and serves as our public climate action plan. It will be reviewed annually.
